Tastermonial, Inc. (“Tastermonial”, “we”, “us” or “our”) knows that your privacy is important to you, and we work hard to earn and keep your trust. Our Site and our App, in conjunction with ancillary services that we offer, including but not limited to asynchronous telemedicine services, delivering wellness test kits, are individually and collectively referred to in this Policy as the “Services”.
This Policy explains how we handle the collection and use of Personal Information that we obtain and the choices that you can make about how your Personal Information is used by Tastermonial. “Personal Information” means any information that can be used, alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, email address, or a personal profile. In some cases, IP addresses may also be considered Personal Information.
We encourage you to read this Policy carefully and to review it periodically, as your use of our Services constitutes consent to this Policy. We will periodically update this Policy, and any changes will be reflected here. If the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice, and at our discretion may contact you directly with information on the same. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Policy, you should not use our Services or otherwise interact with Tastermonial.

To use certain Services that we provide, you are required to use an account (“Account”). Establishing an Account requires an email address and a password. We do not require an Account, nor do we require that you provide any Personal Information, to access the general information on our Site.

Directly and indirectly from activity on our App. For example, from App usage details that are collected automatically.
The information that you provide in each case will vary. In some cases, you may be able to provide Personal Information directly via email or free text boxes in our App. When providing your Personal Information, please provide only relevant information and do not provide unnecessary sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, credit card information or other sensitive data, unless required for our Services. If you provide any additional Personal Information beyond what we require, such as in your communications with us, doing so is entirely your choice. We may retain the Personal Information that you choose to provide in those instances.
We also collect certain data about you automatically when you visit our Site or use our Services. This data may include your IP address, the time and date of your visit, your location, the pages and other content that you access, and the number of times you return to the Site. Collection may be performed either by our own software and tools or through our integrations with technology provided by third parties. We collect this information by using technologies such as:
Log Files: A log file is a text file that resides on our servers, and which records pertinent information about your interactions with our Services at the time of access. Log file data is used primarily for diagnostic and auditing purposes.
Cookies: A cookie is a small data file that resides on your device, and which allows us to recognize you as a user when you return using the same device or web browser. Embedded Scripts: An embedded script is programming code (particularly JavaScript) that collects information about your interactions with our Site. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your device, from our server or a third-party service provider, and is deactivated or deleted when you disconnect from our Site. You can configure your web browser to disable the use of embedded scripts. However, if you opt to disable embedded scripts which we incorporate into our Site, you accept that your ability to use our Services may be impaired or limited, up to and including loss of access to certain Services, until such time as you enable these embedded scripts.

We use the Personal Information and other data that you provide primarily as necessary to provide our Services, including, but not limited to:
We will use and retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our Services and otherwise for our legitimate business purposes, subject, as required by applicable law, to your directions to us regarding your privacy preferences.
We may aggregate or otherwise anonymize the data we collect for purposes of analytics, research, marketing, and other legitimate business interests. Personal Information or information that can identify you as an individual or reasonably be used to identify you will not be disclosed in any such aggregated or anonymized data set.
We share your Personal Information as necessary to provide the Services, and, if and as applicable, a third-party physician network to issue prescriptions and a third-party pharmacy to fill such prescriptions.
We also share your Personal Information with third parties for legitimate business purposes, including with our affiliates, and with third-party vendors who provide services that are necessary for the intended use of our Services (e.g., Stripe for payments processing, ShipHero for shipment processing, and other third-party vendors).
When you grant us permission to do so, we will share your Personal Information with third parties to support your wellness efforts. As an example, if you work with a private nutritionist service with whom we have a relationship, we can make a feed of your CGM data and other Personal Information available to such third-party.
In connection with any clinical research or clinical research trial in which Tastermonial is participating or otherwise facilitating, your Personal Information may be shared with any sponsor or principal investigator of such clinical research or clinical research trial.
We will not otherwise disclose your Personal Information to any third party except as necessary for a legitimate use as described in this Policy, in connection with a bona fide legal dispute (where the information is relevant and in response to a valid, compulsory legal process), or as otherwise required by law.
We do not sell, trade, share, or rent your Personal Information to unaffiliated third parties.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale or disposition of all or a portion of Tastermonial assets, we may disclose Personal Information to the acquiring party(s). In that case, the successor’s use of your Personal Information will continue to be subject to this Policy unless a court orders otherwise or the successor provides notice that your Personal Information will be subject to their own privacy policy. If you submit any Personal Information after such a transfer, that information will be subject to the successor’s privacy policy.
You always have the choice whether or not to provide Personal Information to Tastermonial. As indicated above, some of our Services require that you register an Account but doing so is at your discretion. If you choose not to provide required Personal Information, you can still use any portion of our Services that do not require Personal Information.
If you do provide us with Personal Information, we want to make sure it remains accurate and up to date. You can use the features available through your Account to modify or remove certain information related to your Account. If you need to correct or update any other part(s) of your Personal Information, you can also submit a change request directly by emailing us atlegal@Tastermonial.com. Please be sure to include sufficient details to allow us to make the necessary changes.

Our Services may contain links to, or otherwise allow you to interact with, certain third-party websites, mobile applications, and services that are not owned or controlled by Tastermonial (each a "Third Party Service"). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these Third Party Services, and we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any such Third Party Service that you choose to use.

Tastermonial uses commercially reasonable security and backup measures to protect the information submitted to us. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage and security is 100% secure, though. While we always strive to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We encourage all our users to retain copies of all uploaded information on their own systems, to adhere to all corporate security policies or guidelines pertinent to your situation, and to practice personal habits of digital security.
The Site and Services are not directed to nor intended for children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18 without parental consent. If we learn that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with Personal Information, or that such Personal Information has otherwise been inadvertently collected, we will delete it in accordance with applicable law.
California residents have additional rights regarding the privacy and disclosure of Personal Information, including, but not limited to a right to request that Tastermonial not sell their Personal Information. Tastermonial does not sell your Personal Information, and we use and disclose Personal Information solely in accordance with this Policy.

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Tastermonial is operated in the United States. If you are outside of the United States, please be aware that any information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
